'Every person in our group came away more confident, a little less panicked and most importantly with a smile on their face.'
MSc Sustainable Development student
There are Academic English courses for University of Exeter students in the College of Life and Environmental Sciences and the Truro Knowledge Spa for whom English is a second language. The courses focus on the language and skills required for assignments such as grant applications, project proposals, literature reviews and poster presentations, and other course work. They also offer a supportive environment to discuss language questions and the experience of studying and living in what might be an unfamiliar culture. As part of the courses students may also book tutorials for advice on individual pieces of work.
Course content and schedule is negotiated and depends on who enrols and the modules they are taking.
Day and time vary from week to week to fit students' timetables. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
